This week we were excited to head up to Trek World in Milton Keynes MK Dons stadium for the Trek Bikes 2017 launch.
There was so much to see over the day, so here are a few highlights that we are getting excited about....
Trek continues to be focussed on developing their women specific bikes and they had some excellent offering on show across all disciplines.
Favourite has to be the Trek Silque range of womens road bikes.
Silque is a smooth and fast ride, capable of taking you confortably over long distances, and they look great!
The new Domane
With front Isospeed and adjustable rear isospeed, the new Domane allows for a smooth, fast and flowing ride.
Domanes are available in alloy and carbon models with disc and caliper brake options.
Many models are now equipped with fast-rolling Vision carbon wheels as standard.
See our previous blog post for further information on the technology in the new Domanes.
Fatter is better!
With the ever groing popularity of 29er and 650b plus size tyres, its no suprise that Trek have some fantastic new offerings in the plus size tyre range. Our favourite has to be the new Stache Carbon! What a bike!
As well as bikes Bontrager accessories remain strong with their 30 day unconditional guarantee across all accessories- helmets, lights, tyres, wheels, bottle cages, bar tape- you name it.
The philosophy is simple: use it and love it or return within 30 days for an exchange or refund.
Did you know that Bontrager helmets also come with a crash replacement guarantee, so if you crash within the first year of ownership you can get a replacement helmet absolutely free! Unparallelled customer service as always.
Trek's Project One scheme has taken off in a big way!
Prevoisuly restricted to top end bikes, Project One, which allows customers to customise parts and paint work on their bikes, has now been expanded to include many more models. It starts out at a more affordable price point too. Many of our favourite models are now available in a selection range of paint colours, hand sprayed in Waterloo, Wisconsin. The waiting times for P1 have also reduced which is great news!
Check out the paint job on this P1 Fuel EX!
Great day had by all, rounded off by an interesting chat with Jens Voigt!
Turns out he's as great a conversationalist as cyclist...
